Each symposium at ICMAT 2019 will have different publication arrangements – some may have a proceedings with full papers, some may be publishing selected papers for a special edition of a related journal whilst others may not have any conference publication.

Symposia with planned publications:
C) Semiconductor Photonics
Papers submitted to Symposium C will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Journal of Quantum Electronics.
F) Magnetic and Spintronic Materials and Devices
Selected papers submitted to Symposium F will be published in IEEE Magnetics Letters.
O) Advances in Perovskite Materials: Photovoltaics, Optoelectronics and Frontier Phenomena
Proceedings will be published in Energy Technology (WILEY) and Advanced Energy Materials(WILEY) as twin special issues.
P) Advanced Inorganic Materials and Thin Film Technology for Solar Energy Harvesting and Electronic Application
Papers submitted to Symposium P will be considered for publication in a special issue of Journal of Materials Chemistry A (JMCA, RSC – IF 9.3)
X) Von Hippel Award Symposium in Honour of Prof CNR Rao FRS
Invited papers of Symposium X will be considered for publication in a special issue on “Advances in Materials Science: A Special Issue in Honour of Prof CNR Rao” in the journal of Applied Materials Today.
In addition, a special issue of Journal of Solid State Chemistry in honour of Prof. CNR Rao will also be published. These will go through usual review process by JSSC.
CC) Novel Solution Processing of Advanced Functional Nanomaterials for Energy, Environmental and Biomedical Applications
Symposiumn CC will be publshing its proceedings with the “ADVANCED SCIENCE, ENGINEERING AND MEDICINE” journal.
RR) Ultrafast Optics
Papers submitted to Symposium RR will be considered for publication in a special issue of Optics Communication.
