Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences
Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS) is an autonomous research institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. It is mentored by the Nano Mission of the Government of India. CeNS exercises an open-minded approach to R&D, with students pursuing Ph.D. programme in the area of nanoscience and technology interlaced with soft matter principles, with a high emphasis on IP and commercialisation. The Centre actively collaborates with industry such as Tata Steel, HPCL, HHV to name a few. A technology incubation centre is getting ready on the 14-acre new campus located at Bengaluru north taluk.
