Symposium Scope

The symposium will gather world leading scientists, clinical scientists, engineers, and industrial players to discuss the following scientific and technological topics, in nanomaterials for applications in diagnosis, imaging in-vivo and vitro, therapy, (bio)pharma, food safety and environmental monitoring.

• Novel design and synthesis of composite organic-inorganic nanoparticles
• Surface functionalization methodologies of colloidal nanoparticles
• Theoretical study of structure-property relationship in nanostructured materials
• Integration of colloidal sensors /assays with microfluidic devices
• On-site operation of colloidal nanoparticle based sensors
• Sensor/assay design and compatibility with different sample matrices
• Scaling up of nanoparticle based sensors
